Due to the OVERWHELMING profits attached to the labeling of people with a diagnosis involving the psycho/pharma industry, the numbers of individuals with such a label rise every day/month/year. 

We, who are lead to believe that a "mental-health" epidemic is occurring in the world.

And are then supposed to discount such profits, under the guise of "professional medical ethics and the Hippocratic oath" (which isn't even used anymore) as a sort of blinder to the FACT that this industry, when given a chance, has at every turn shown themselves to be WITHOUT ethics OR PROFESSIONALISM, when it comes to making money.

The simple fact of the matter remains that the APA (American Psychiatric Assoc.) and their counterparts in the pharma industry exist FOR NO OTHER REASON that the perpetuation of THE MYTH of the psychiatric diagnosis as actual scientific proof.

Their whole purpose is the furtherance and promoting of this fallacy...and they will stop at nothing to hawk their snakeoil to whoever they choose, when ever they choose for as much as they can get.

And if what ever is causing you distress falls into their billing categories, all the easier for them to gain access to your wallet.

And if what ever is causing you distress DOESN'T fall into one of their billing categories...it soon will.

The "DSM" (Diagnostical and Statistical Manual) is NOTHING more than a menu, a product catalog, and a price list.

And includes about as much science as it does common sense...which of course IS NONE.
