The military has seen an exponential increase in both active duty and recently retuned veterans suicide rates across the branches.
Today the Army will stand down service wide to take part in "suicide prevention" training of active duty service members.
But the bigger question remains...WHY this increase now...with current conflicts and no increase in previous wars and conflicts?
And increases are occurring in previous wars (Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, the first Gulf War) veterans NOW. But not when they "recently" return from their conflicts then.
